My 5 Easter Food Favourites

For most Australians, the highlight of Easter is the super long weekend and the food. So of course, I am a big supporter of both of these things and what better way to share the love than with a roundup of my favourite cute, delicious Easter recipes! Pre-warning, a lot of these I have not tried yet but I plan on making several over the Easter period and I will report back on my findings! Click any image to see the creator and their recipe.

  1. Easter bark
I love chocolate bark. It’s easy, delicious and looks so cute with little effort! So of course, there had to be an Easter version on this list. I will be making this soon so look forward to a little review.

  2. Creme Egg Cheesecake
My favourite Easter treat with my favourite cake. Yes. All kinds of yes! I don’t think I’ll be making this any time soon but maybe one Easter where I want to be the best that ever was, this will be my go-to. I would also change it to baked cheesecake as I prefer it over this style.
  3. Carrot Patch Cupcakes
Anyone that knows me will attest to my love of pretty things, especially when it’s a little clever, like food that looks like other food, for example. So of course this had to be on the list – cute little strawberries masquerading as colourful carrots in a bed of cupcake dirt. So easy but so darn cute.
  4. Easter Deviled Eggs
Something on the savoury side but not without the pastel hues, these deviled eggs are so good to look at and (I’m sure) even better to eat! I’ve never made deviled eggs, I’m very curious to try this out, fancy colours and all.
  5. Easter Fruit Kabobs
And finally, something a little lighter to round it off. I love fruit kabobs and themed ones even more so. I’ve made these lots of times so I think I will definitely do it again as a not-so-guilty sweet treat.

Have you made any of these? Let me know if you have and if you think I am missing anything!

  1. Oh my goodness. Erin I love this roundup. Nearly drooling over my laptop.. that Easter bark looks too adorable. It would make such a perfect gift all year round! I’ve never seen pastel coloured M&M’s before here though. If you stumble across them please let me know xx

    1. I love making chocolate bark, so easy and so impressive! If you want pastel MnMs, head to Tom’s Confectionary Warehouse during Easter period! I can take you one time. Alternatively, I’m going to use speckled eggs from Cadbury and speckled crispy MnMs. Will share results soon 😉
