This past week I have been road tripping with my husband in New South Wales. Family from his mother’s side live in the Southern Highlands and we were invited to his cousin’s wedding on the Saturday, so we thought we would make an adventure out of it and drive there and back.
Our itinerary included camping the first night, staying at an Airbnb in Sydney the second night, staying with family for the wedding and camping on the way back. We found some amazing free camping spots for the two nights outdoors and a lovely spot for the night in Sydney right down the road from a venue I have wanted to visit for years: The Grounds of Alexandria.
So, of course, I had to order some delicious, beautiful food to enjoy and photograph. Below is what we had, as well as some shots of the grounds.
It was actually a dream to visit and everything I had imagined. I will definitely go again when possible (or visit The Grounds of the City next time!). Do you have any dream venues you have been wanting to visit for several years?
